Residents have the chance to discuss on Brisbane’s future

Brisbane residents interested in having a better understanding of the development plans for the city still have nine free sessions with a council member until the end of the year.

“Talk to a Planner” is the possibility that residents, business owners and community groups have to discuss Brisbane City Plan 2014 (City Plan).

The program brings information on how land in Brisbane is used and developed, such as residential zones, home-based businesses, industry zones, flood planning provisions, neighbourhood centres, among others.

“It also helps plan for infrastructure to support growth and protect our way of life. We’re growing our city while maintaining the character of our suburbs and creating a city of neighbourhoods,” says the Brisbane City Council.

During these sessions, participants can speak face-to-face with a planning specialist, and ask any questions about how the City Plan relates to their property.

Booking for the sessions can be made here.
